Fear in the Forest

All hell has broken loose in the forest!
There’s a rumour going round that the bear has a death list. Everyone’s wondering who’s on it.
The stag is the first to pluck up his courage, walk over to the bear and ask him:
„Tell me, Bear, am I on your list too?“
„Yes,“ says the bear, „your name’s on the list too.“
Filled with fear, the stag turns round and walks away. And sure enough, two days later, the stag is found dead.
Fear is growing ever more amongst the forest dwellers, and rumours are rife about the question of,
There’s a lot of speculation about who’s actually on the list.
The boar is the first to lose his patience. He goes to see the bear to ask him,
whether he is on the list as well.
„Yes,“ replies the bear, „you’re on the list too.“
Frightened, the boar said goodbye to the bear. He, too, was found dead two days later.
Now panic is breaking out amongst the forest dwellers. Only the hare still dares to go and see the bear.
„Bear, am I on the list too?“
„Yes, you’re on the list too.“
„Can you take my name off the list?“
„Yeah, sure, no problem.“
The moral of the story: communication is vital!
